Night Terrors III: Horror Anthology by Jack Ketchum and Paul Tremblay

All I can say is wow! Writing short stories is not easy to do but each one of these wonderful stories are original and well thought out. I do have some favorites and one or two that I was not keen on but that is normal and due to personal preference. All in all, this is a very addictive and stay up late at night reading kind of horror anthology. The best part is that some of the authors are new to me and there is a wonderful introduction for each of them. The stories range from pure horror to supernatural to just plain weird. It is a great read for lovers of Horror Fiction.

This book is not only an account of the author's journey to become a Professional Speaker but is also a personal memoir. It makes for a fascinating read and Patrick Schwerdtfeger pulls no punches either. It isn't easy becoming a Professional Speaker but with a lot of hard work, determination, and a never give up attitude, it is possible. He highlights not only his successes but also his failures that he has learned from along the way and shares it here. This book is a must read for anyone considering becoming a Professional Speaker and can also be an inspiration for anyone to go for their dreams. Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal by Anthony William

The premise behind this book is intriguing and interesting to say the least. He actually reminds me very much of Edgar Cayce. In both cases, they listen or listened to spirit voices who scan and recommend medical treatment for people's illnesses. 
Much of what he writes is common sense and logical and would benefit people in general but I do not know enough about the specific herbs etc to make a judgement in that area. He seems to have helped people with his advice. Some of it I found very interesting especially the connection between the spiritual and physical beings which we are. I just wish that he had addressed the issue of Oral Allergy Syndrome and Tree Nut/Peanut allergies. Devil's Row by Matt Serafini

I have always enjoyed well written horror novels that are not just "slasher" books but also have substance to them. I really wasn't sure what to expect when I asked for and received a copy of this book to review. I am very glad I did as I really did enjoy it and am looking forward to reading more novels by this author. Thief takers join forces with a soldier to search for a notorious she-wolf named Elizabeth Luna. They become the hunters and also the hunted as they face evil beyond their imagination. There are so many areas of this novel to enjoy. The vivid description of scenery and atmosphere are very well done, and it was intriguing to see the world from the point of view of a she-wolf for once. I received a copy of this novel for free in exchange for an honest review.
